Here's to the Women Who Elevated the Industry

Strong women. Great cannabis. Iconic energy.

Cannabis would not be what it is today without the women who grow it, innovate within it, advocate for it, and build community around it. At Altocanna, we are proudly women-led and family-owned, built by tour sisters, one brother, and our parents, all working side by side to create something meaningful in our community. What started as a shared vision has grown into a dispensary rooted in trust, education, and heart.

This International Women's Day, we're celebrating the women who continue to push the industry forward and redefine what cannabis culture looks like every day. Behind many of your favorite products are women leading brands, snaping experiences, and raising the standard, literally. We’re proud to support women- owned and women-led brands that bring creativity, care, and serious expertise to the plant.

Todays a great day to

  • Discover a women-led brand you haven’t explored yet
  • Support makers shaping the future of cannabis
  • Share cannabis experiences that bring the community together

Thank you for supporting a women-led, family-run dispensary.

Good cannabis is powerful. Women in cannabis? Even more so.

Smoking a joint with your siblings is a sacred teenage tradition, something that bonds you across clouds of smoke—a furtive secret you all keep from your parents. For the five Savocchi siblings, it seemed an innocent enough past time during their childhood in Queens. But it was also prequel to their eventual entry into New York’ adult-use cannabis industry.
